Konishi Japanese Cooking Class was founded by Kiyoko Konishi to teach Japanese cooking in English to foreign wives of Japanese．

Asahi Evening News introduced KJCC as a unique cooking school. Then many articles appeared in the Japan times, Mainichi Daily News， The Daily Yomiuri and many Magazines & books. TV & radio programs were broadcast， domestic and overseas．

１９８３
She wrote ”Japanese Cooking for Health and Fitness”(published by Gakken) which was sold not only in Japan but in all English-speaking countries．It was translated into Dutch, German and Portuguese.

１９８４
Her cooking programs were broadcast on U．S．Cable TV and got a great reputation．

１９８７
School was opened to Japanese people who want to learn both cooking and English．

１９８８
She began teaching at Kikkoman, Foreign Embassies and Meguro City Office．
Cooking column on City Life News started. It continued for 6 years．

１９９０
She wrote second cookbook ”Entertaining with a Japanese Flavor," published by Kodansha International．

１９９１
She released ３ bilingual cooking videos titled “Japanese Home Cooking”．
Honored as a Woman of Distinction by Soroptimist International of America.

“Japanese Cuisine”in Asahi Evening News started and continued for ４ years．

School celebrated its ２５th anniversary and held a reunion party．

School was listed in“The guide to cooking schools” by Shaw Guides，N．Ｙ．that covers cooking schools from all over the world．Many people including professional cooks came from overseas to take cooking lessons．

１９９８：
She started teaching at the Tokyo American Club．

１９９９
School held a party to celebrate its ３０th anniversary on Oct．16．
KJCC was included in a group toue of Japan.
